About us

Marinor NTNU is a technical student organization at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, dedicated to the development of autonomous maritime vessels.


Founded in 2025 by Kasper Tufte Langland, Johannes Embretsen Gunnarshaug, Oskar Fredrik Eliassen and Emil Mohr-Skogan, the organization has already grown to 20 members and is experiencing rapid growth.

Marinor NTNU serves as a central hub for expertise in maritime autonomy at NTNU, bringing together students with strong backgrounds in robotics, automation, and marine technology. The organization maintains a close collaboration with the Department of Engineering Cybernetics, working jointly on the development of knowledge and innovative products in the field of maritime autonomy.

Through hands-on projects and research-based initiatives, Marinor NTNU provides its members with opportunities to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world applications, while fostering a network of skilled engineers and future industry leaders.
